Sorry, I do not have a picture…as much as I make it. This recipe is incredibly delicious and incredible simple. As such, it as a small amount of ingredients. Word of advice: whenever making a recipe that does not have a whole lot of ingredients, buy the highest quality ingredients you can find. This means buying the more expensive name brand Olive Oil, etc.
This is one of my favorite recipes and I make and serve it often.
Greek Garlic Chicken
This highly flavored oil is something you can easily brush on chicken while barbecuing, baking, or sautéing. It’s also wonderful with lamb. These dishes are especially good served with lemon rice and hummus.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 teaspoons bottled lemon juice
- 4 teaspoons garlic powder
- 4 - 6 chicken pieces/breasts
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
Directions:
Combine the oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, and pepper and whisk together. The garlic will tend to fall to the bottom but will be picked up by your brush or baster.
To barbecue or bake, brush the oil on liberally, reapplying during the cooking process. To sauté, pour the flavored oil into the frying pan and cook as you would normally. The chicken is done when it is no longer pink and the juice run clear.
